I got insight into working in the game industry and how to be professional while working collaboratively. It was an overall enriching experience which will further help me in my journey as a game developer and I appreciate the Maliyo team for this amazing opportunity.
The Elite Program was an incredible experience that not only helps you build your portfolio but you also get to work with other developers in Africa. All while getting mentorship and feedback from the Maliyo Team. I am grateful for the exposure that the studio gave me.
I'm now proud to have been awarded a Micro-credential from Arizona State University. This comes after many weeks spent learning about games, meeting amazing game developers and creating art for game projects. The African games industry is undeniably growing fast, and bootcamps like these are helping to shape the future of our industry.
I'm thrilled to share that I was awarded an International Micro-Credential in Game Art and Visual Development โ issued by Endless Games and Learning Lab at Arizona State University. This badge recognizes the skills I developed and demonstrated as a Game Artist across a range of disciplines. This journey has been incredibly rewarding.
